Sterling Technologies Net?s Two Supplier Awards ?Vendor of the Year and ABCD? from Major Retail Supplier
On 11/10/05 Sterling Technologies of Erie, PA received the ?Vendor of the Year? award from a major supplier of store protection products to the big box store (such as Wal-Mart/Home Depot/Lowes) retail industry. Sterling manufactures several products for this company including 4 sizes of a rotationally molded guard?s for freezers, barriers & signs for outside cart corrals, and the recognized ?Bean? shopping cart (pictured below).
Sterling?s president Greg Cronkhite said of the award ? this award is the result of good design programs from cradle to grave, exceptional people inside of STI performing in outstanding and unique ways to satisfy a very demanding customer, and good old fashioned ?get it done? attitudes throughout the organization.?
In addition to the Vendor of the year award, Cary Quigley STI?s Director of Operations was awarded the ABCD award (Above and Beyond the Call of Duty). This award recognizes the individual in the entire supplier base that performed on a continual basis over what was expected by the customer. Cary has been with Sterling Technologies since 1999 and is shareholder in the company and a member of the STI advisory board.
