Ceremony At Ground Zero
A customer of Sterling Technologies Inc (Lake City, PA) made and appearance at the Ground Zero Anniversary Ceremonies, commemorating September 11, 2001, with their innovative traffic barrier system manufactured by STI. The barriers are molded in Lake City, PA, are made of polyethylene and are water tight. The barriers in the photos below were used to control pedestrian traffic to Ground Zero. The orange and white barriers lined several walkways at the ceremony and are more frequently used on construction and road work sites around the country, on a daily basis.
